The Ottawa Summer Tournaments will welcome hundreds of horses and riders to compete in our nation's capital during back-to-back weeks in July! 

Each day of the Ottawa Summer Tournaments has something special to offer! Here's a full list of feature events we recommend & additional activities:

  • Thursday, July 4: $15,000 FACES Magazine Open Welcome @ 4:00pm

  • Friday, July 5: $10,000 CHDS Open Hunter Derby @ 10:00am

    • Dress up Derby Day! Spectators are invited to sport their most fashionable, creative, or outrageous hats!

      Prizes will be awarded for the Best Derby Hat and Most Glamorous Scratch & Sniff Outfit!

  • Saturday, July 6:

    • $50,000 Brookstreet Grand Prix @ 4:00pm

    • Kids Zone open 10:00am - 4:00pm

  • Sunday, July 7:

    • $5,000 Modified Grand Prix @ 10:00am

    • Dogz Agility demonstration at 12:30pm

    • $5,000 OHJA Nation’s Cup @ 1:00pm

    • Kids Zone open 10:00am - 1:00pm

  • Family-Friendly Entertainment: Bring the whole family along for a beautiful summer day of equestrian sport! Our event offers something for everyone, including a beer garden with prime views of the show jumping action, a kids zone on the weekends, local vendors, and more.

  • Kids Zone: open Saturdays & Sundays of the Ottawa Summer Tournaments

    • Visit the Ottawa Senators Street Team for a hardest shot competition, to pose with a pro, and a chance to win Sens tickets!

    • Meet two of our favourite WCP friends, Zack the donkey and Lambi the pony!

    • Cotton candy, face painting & more!

Frequently asked questions.

Arrival and getting around our site.

  • Please follow posted signage and/or directions from staff and volunteers upon arrival.

  • Parking is available on site free of charge.

  • It takes about five minutes to walk from our spectator parking to the competition area. Our site is wheelchair and stroller accessible, please note given the rural nature of the property you will encounter uneven surfaces, grass, and gravel.

  • As part of our biosecurity and safety protocols the stabling area is strictly off limits to the public.

Are there washrooms?

  • Access to portable toilets will be available to the public.

Is there seating?

  • Bleacher seating is available on a first come first served basis. We encourage guests to bring folding chairs or blankets!

Will there be food vendors?

  • Yes! We encourage you to visit our vendors while you are on site. Stop by the beer garden for snacks, cold refreshments and covered seating with prime views of the show jumping action.

Can I bring food & beverages with me?

  • Outside food and nonalcoholic beverages are permitted. We recommend bringing water on hot days!
