2026 Eventing Season at Wesley Clover Parks: Building on a Breakthrough FEI Year

Following the successful debut of FEI eventing in 2025, Wesley Clover Parks is set to welcome riders back in 2026, continuing its commitment to developing the sport at both the national and international level in Canada.

The 2026 calendar will feature the Ottawa Spring Horse Trials on May 18, followed by Eventing at The Parks CCI2*-S CCI1* from September 25 to 27. Eventing at The Parks will once again host the Eastern Canadian Eventing Championships, welcoming qualifying riders from Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland & Labrador for a year-end regional championship.

Returning for its second year at the FEI level, Eventing at The Parks continues to strengthen its role within the Canadian eventing calendar, offering valuable competitive opportunities for athletes progressing through the sport.

Wesley Clover Parks is an exceptional venue, supported by a team whose motivation to foster the growth of Eventing at both the National and International level in Canada is greatly appreciated. The depth of knowledge, experience, and genuine passion for the sport demonstrated by the WCP team is clear to us all. The Canadian High Performance Advisory Group is especially grateful for the leadership of this venue in developing and sustaining CC1* and CCI2* competitions for Canadian athletes. These events provide an essential pathway, serving as a critical stepping stone toward high performance and international success for Canada.

We strongly encourage the continued and expanded support of the broader community for this outstanding venue, whose dedication plays a vital role in shaping the future of Eventing in Canada.
— Emily Gilbert, Chair of Equestrian Canada’s Canadian Eventing High Performance Advisory Group (HPAG)

A key focus for 2026 remains the continued investment in Canadian talent, not only among athletes but also officials. Wesley Clover Parks is committed to hiring and developing Canadian eventing officials, creating meaningful opportunities to strengthen and grow the pool of professionals in the sport.

As Canada’s only venue to host FEI competition across all three Olympic equestrian disciplines, Wesley Clover Parks plays a unique role in the national sport landscape. The 2026 FEI season also includes the Ottawa Dressage Festival (May 28–31) and the Ottawa International CSI4* CSI2* (August 12–16), bringing top-level sport to the nation’s capital throughout the summer.
