RBC Royal Bank Returns as Title Sponsor of the 2026 RBC Ottawa International CSI4* CSI2*

Wesley Clover Parks invites international athletes to experience a boutique competition that delivers beyond its star rating.

OTTAWA, ON, June 23, 2026 — As FEI entries officially open for the 2026 RBC Ottawa International CSI4* CSI2*, Wesley Clover Parks is pleased to welcome back leading financial institution RBC Royal Bank (RBC) as title sponsor of both the RBC Ottawa Summer Tournaments and RBC Ottawa International.

The RBC Ottawa International CSI4* CSI2* will return to Wesley Clover Parks from August 12 – 16, 2026, bringing four days of FEI international show jumping competition to Canada's capital. Athletes can find links to submit their entries and stabling requests at www.ottawaequestriantournaments.com/2026-gold.

A Unique Opportunity for International Riders

The 2026 RBC Ottawa International CSI4* CSI2* arrives at a unique point on the international calendar.

With the FEI World Championships in Aachen, Germany scheduled for the week following Ottawa's international competition, Wesley Clover Parks made the deliberate decision to host a 4* event in 2026, creating a novel opportunity for those with horses prepared to compete at the international level but not yet targeting 5* competition.

The result is a competition designed for athletes seeking top-level international sport in an environment that delivers the hospitality, professionalism, and operational excellence typically associated with the highest levels of the sport.

A total of four CSI4* and four CSI2* classes will be contested over four days of international competition. The schedule offers valuable opportunities for riders developing younger horses, building international experience, or travelling with multiple horses. Competitors can bring a broader string and maximize their week in Ottawa while competing for FEI ranking points and prize money paid in U.S. dollars.

A boutique international competition that delivers well beyond its star rating, the RBC Ottawa International combines world-class sport with the welcoming atmosphere that has become a hallmark of competition at Wesley Clover Parks.

Why Ottawa?

Located just minutes from downtown Ottawa, the RBC Ottawa International offers athletes the unique opportunity to compete at an international venue while staying close to the restaurants, attractions, and cultural landmarks of Canada's capital.

Riders, owners, and teams can enjoy premium accommodations, outstanding restaurants, vibrant entertainment districts, and some of Canada's most recognizable landmarks, all within close proximity. Parliament Hill, the Rideau Canal, the ByWard Market, museums, shopping, and cultural attractions are located just minutes away, making Ottawa an ideal destination for those seeking a competition week that extends beyond the showgrounds.

The athlete experience remains a central focus for organizers, with a strong emphasis on hospitality, customer service, and creating an environment where competitors feel welcomed both in and out of the ring.

For international competitors, Canada also offers exceptional value. Prize money at the RBC Ottawa International is paid in U.S. dollars, while many travel and operating expenses can be more favourable than comparable destinations south of the border.

Investing in the Future

As preparations continue for this summer's international competition, Wesley Clover Parks remains committed to enhancing the competitor experience through ongoing investments in its facilities, including the venue's iconic grass Grand Prix field.

Working alongside internationally renowned turf specialist Richard Hayden of Hayden Turfcare, the Ottawa Equestrian Tournaments team has undertaken a comprehensive program of improvements focused on performance, consistency, and long-term sustainability. Hayden's experience includes work at some of the sport's most respected venues, including the All England Jumping Course at Hickstead and Dublin's RDS Arena. Supported by a more data-driven approach to footing management, these investments are helping to create more consistent and reliable competition surfaces for horses and riders.

"At the Ottawa Equestrian Tournaments we take footing very seriously," said Mike Lawrence, FEI Event Director and Show Manager of the RBC Ottawa International CSI4* CSI2*. "Working alongside industry experts, we've focused on creating surfaces that give riders confidence and allow horses to perform at their best. From our all-weather rings to the grass Grand Prix field, every investment has been made with consistency, performance, and the horses in mind. Our goal is for competitors to view Ottawa's grass field not simply as an alternative surface, but as a preferred one.”

Looking Ahead to August

The week's featured competitions include the US$185,000 CSI4* RBC Grand Prix on Saturday at 2:00 p.m. and the US$35,000 CSI2* Canada Gold Grand Prix on Sunday at 10:00 a.m., showcasing top sport on the venue's revitalized grass Grand Prix field.

Whether competing for FEI ranking points, developing future Grand Prix horses, entertaining clients in hospitality, or spending a summer week in Canada's capital, visitors can expect a world-class experience both on and off the showgrounds.

FEI entries are now open through www.showmanagementsystem.ca, and stabling requests can be submitted using this form.
